What Exactly Is The Connection??

If you are like me you have no idea who the guy pictured is, but evidently he is in the Fox show Prison Break. His name is Lane Garrison. Anyway a while back he was drunk in a car and it crashed and he is charged with vehicular manslaughter (it killed a high school kid that was in the car with him).

Anyway, it seems that Lane is more than a killer he is also very patriotic...or something. Today, according to TMZ.com, he told a judge that he is going to plead guilty to manslaughter and will not try to negotiate a lighter sentence. Talking through his lawyer, his reasoning behind it is:

"Lane is very sad about the accident," adding Garrison told him this morning: "People are going to Iraq. [I] want to step up and accept the sentence."

Congratulations Lane is equating what our brave men and women are doing in Iraq (who are heroes) to what you are doing in accepting responsibility for killing a kid.

Man, if only more people in Hollywood were like this brave soul we probably would have more admiration for them. Thank you Lane for showing us the way.
