We are debuting our newest feature at D&F. I am sure within the next year or so that the D&F family will be introducing some new little dinks and flikas so why not get a head start on the children's books that we will be reading to them. We are lucky to have a friend in the publishing business that recommended a few and here is our first.
"Imagination Vacation" is a really fast read...I mean for a 24 year old. However I was enthralled the entire 2 minutes. 3-5 year olds are the targeted readers and I can see how they would like it. It has funny character names like Bonaparte, Shu-Shu, and Nut and Bolt. It also centers on how to use your imagination on a rainy afternoon.
The characters use their imagination to go on a vacation because they can't go outside. The authors also include foil shapes that the readers are encouraged to find them.
At the end of the book it gives ideas to parents on different activities that the kids can do to help them with remembering their shapes and colors.
Definitely a book that not only entertains but will help kids learn. If you would like more information, click here.
