The site, Baseball Reference.com lists statistics for every player, team, and league in baseball history. For example did you know "Shoeless" Joe Jackson's debut game was on August 25, 1908. It also has his stats broken down for the 1919 World Series. After reading them how can anyone say he was in on the Blacksox scandal if he hit .375, had 6 RBI's, and had the series only homerun. (This point was also brought up in the movie Field of Dreams, but I digress.)
