That would be a Hallmark Sunday Movie if it were true. Basically they wasted the good wig on a fraud. Priscilla Ceballos decided that since they were unable to buy tickets to the show (some tickets are going for thousands of dollars) she would teach her daughter a wonderful life lesson…lie to get what you want. Seeing that she probably has the intelligence of a 6 year old…writing the essay to make it sound like a first grader was not hard. She sat down with a dictionary and went to work. She wrote so passionately about Sgt. Jonathon Menjivar and what a great father he was. The only hitch is that the Department of Defense has no record of this guy. She was much too sensible to use the name of a real hero…so she went with a made up guy. She must have figured that no one keeps records of people who die in war…so she was home free.
I feel sorry for this little girl it’s not her fault that her mom is an idiot. I am pretty sure that they took the tickets away and are giving them to someone who actually told the truth in their essay. What’s most devastating is that they probably took away the Hannah Montana wig too. Seeing that her mother is not the best influence (God willing she actually has a positive influence in her life)…hopefully this whole saga taught the girl that lying is not the way to go and when you get caught it can be pretty humiliating. Priscilla Ceballos of Garland, Texas will forever be remembered as the woman who lied about a fake dead soldier so she could see Hannah Montana sing.
Thanks Priscilla for making sure we are one step closer to the end of humanity.
